Christine Gorbach, age 64, of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away on November 22, 2018, in Akron, Ohio, following complications from an aneurysm. Christine was an intelligent, artistic, loving woman, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Art was her passion, and through a plethora of talents, including abstract painting, film making, music, and dance, she brought beauty and color into the lives of all who knew her. She hosted salon and book club, and never missed a Zumba class. She taught art in the Cuyahoga Falls School system for 30 years, and taught at the college level for 10 more. Her recent work was also shown in a solo show at the Akron Women's City Club.

Christine's beautiful singing voice could be heard with performances in the play Quilters, the Sound of Music, Crooked River Woman's Chorale, and the Summit County Choral Society. She was excited to perform at Severance Hall in Cleveland, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Most importantly, she was an amazing mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was our person and will be missed beyond measure.
