Obituary of Edith Miser

-GREEN Edith N. Miser, 76, passed away on September 3, 2017, after an extended illness. Born on October 7, 1940 to the late Garnett & Mildred Moore, Edith had been a resident of Green for over 18 years. Edith loved to travel with her late husband Ron. She enjoyed flea markets and arts & crafts. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband Ronald in March of this year; sisters Mary, Libby, & Linda. She is survived by her children Rhonda Hendrix, John (Yvonne), & Chuck Miser; grandchildren Heather (Shawn) Coleman, Seth (Sarah), Kevin, & Christina Ransbottom, Eileen, Rosado, & James & Christopher Lowrimore; great-grandchildren Emily & Scott Ransbottom, Michael & Madison Walker, Kiersten Coleman, Harlem & Kyleah Lowrimore & Ariah Raybell; sisters Iris (Jerry) Changes & Micki Cody; brother David Moore. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2-4 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd. (at Massillon and Steese Rd, Entrance off of Steese) in Green. A funeral service will take place on Monday, 1 pm, at the funeral home where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at East Liberty Cemetery in Green. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org.
